ХРИСТИАНЕ ПРОТИВ АНТИСЕМИТИЗМА

WATCH LIVE : CHRISTIAN GROUPS TAKE FIGHT AGAINST ANTI-SEMITISM TO THE UNITED NATIONS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JERUSALEM/TENNESSEE - (August 11, 2015) Fifty years after the Catholic Church's Nostra Aetate decision that relinquished all claims of deicide and called on the Church to combat anti-Semitism, global genocidal anti-Semitism continues to grow. Two major Christian organizations will be taking the struggle to the United Nations. Proclaiming Justice to the Nations (PJTN) together with the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC), which represents over 40 million Christians worldwide, will will hold a special forum at the U.N. to highlight the ongoing human rights violations that continue to plague Jewish communities around the globe, with a special emphasis on anti-Semitism within the Christian world. The forum is being sponsored by the Permanent Missions of Palau, Cyprus and Israel. This historic symposium will take place today - on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm EST at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Room CB-1B-CR01.

THE EVENT WILL BE BROADCAST LIVE HERE:

The event will be attended by ambassadors, diplomats, clergymen and concerned members of the public and comes just six months after PJTN and WCICC attended a special meeting at the Vatican to discuss the importance of highlighting the 50th anniversary of the Church's historic declaration, Vatican II/Nostra Aetate, to Christians of all denominations and to all people around the world at a time of rising global, genocidal Jew-hatred. The featured speakers will include: Msgr. Guy Massie, Senior Pastor, Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary & St. Stephen Catholic Church, Laurie Cardoza-Moore, Th.D, Special Envoy to the UN for WCICC and President of PJTN, Ambassador Dr. Caleb Otto, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Palau to the United Nations, 10x10Lauri B. Regan Senior Counsel at White & Case LLP and President of New York chapter of Endowment for Middle East Truth, Rabbi Dr. Analia Bortz, MD, Rabbi, Medical Doctor, Bioethicist and vocal activist on combating anti-Semitism,Sammy Eppel, Journalist & Consultant on Latin American Anti-Semitism and Alex Grobman Ph.D, author of License to Murder: The Enduring Threat of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and Consultant for American Israel Friendship League.

With anti-Semitism on the rise, this special forum will seek to provide practical advice and data to promote an environment that prevents such negative seeds from flourishing through sharing the common vehicles of education, faith and action. The forum will further seek to expose the evidence of this growing threat, and will present sustainable ideas and solutions to confront this worldwide movement today and in future generations. As governmental and religious leaders speak and share data, their focus will be on relating lessons from successes and failures, of identifying the many facets of this scourge and how Christians can develop best practices at the U.N. to address this ancient threat to the Jewish People and all people of faith.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President of PJTN and a Special Envoy for WCICC made the following comment in anticipation of the event: "The Catholic Church denounced anti-Semitism and deicide five decades ago, yet millions of Christians still believe the heresy of Replacement Theology, believing that the Jewish people are no longer the inheritors of the Covenant and that the Land does not belong to all Israel. This is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms possible. PJTN will continue to act as a firewall around our Jewish brethren, as it is, and always was, our Biblical duty to stand with the State of Israel and the Jewish People. 'Never again' isn't just an empty statement- it is something that needs to be worked on daily."
