Yesterday, a bomb exploded on a bus in Jerusalem during rush hour – the first time in a decade the city has experienced this kind of horrific terror.
21 were injured in the attack – 2 seriously. The bravery of Israeli first responders and those on the scene prevented further loss of life but the fire could be seen for miles around Jerusalem.
The last time Jerusalem faced bus bombings was the Second Intifada, when more than 1000 Israelis were killed. We cannot allow this terror to return.
34 innocents have already been murdered in Israel in a terror wave that started in September – but today’s bus bombing is a terrifying escalation for the people of Israel.
Both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have praised the “blessed” attack and vowed to continue the terror wave in Israel.
Can you imagine if this was your city, your country, the bus you take home from work? We must stand with Israel and demand that the world do more to stop Palestinian terror.
