BRILLIANT – Donald Trump Just Announced 2 Simple Rules for His Entire Administration
What was Trump’s campaign slogan again? Oh, ya. Make America Great again.
On Thursday, President-elect Trump stated two rules for his administration that will serve as the backbone of all that they do. “BUY AMERICAN and HIRE AMERICAN” he posted on his Facebook page.
My Administration will follow two simple rules: BUY AMERICAN and HIRE AMERICAN!
One reason Trump won the election is that he was very successful in pulling in non-Republican votes. Many Independents and Democrats voted Trump in the hopes he would make the economy flourish once again. They heard the slogan and liked it. For years, the United States has struggled economically. Why? Did we have to struggle? No, we did not.
Throughout President Obama’s two terms, he has put an emphasis on making America not great. He has made trip after trip all over the globe, apologizing for our domination, for our successes, and vowing to help other nations. Nobody has a problem with helping other nations. But, this idea that in order for others to succeed, the U.S. needs to diminish itself -- is nonsense. In fact, the world desperately needs someone to lead the way. That someone is us.
One of our main problems, which Trump repeatedly pointed-out on the campaign trail, is our trade deficit. Poor legislation has been put into place that helps other countries and hurts ours. More and more often, we tax our businesses so much that they have had to close their doors.
As a result, we have lost manufacturing. We have lost jobs. We are not only stagnant, we are struggling. But, Trump is on the move to turn the economy around. His words of hope have been therapeutic to all. Unlike most politicians, he is standing by his campaign promises. Buy American, hire American!
One of Obama’s biggest unfulfilled promises was uttered in July, 2010, when he said “I will not rest until every American, who is able and ready, and willing to work, can find a job. And a job that pays a decent wage, and has decent benefits to support a family.” His sentiment was good, his follow-though was not.
Since then, he has played more than 300 rounds of golf. He is almost never working, from what we can see. His words were meaningless.
Trump, on the other hand, has been working tirelessly since winning on November 8. He isn’t even technically on the job yet! But, he has already saved jobs and cut back needless government spending. This guy is serious about you and me. He cares.
