Alsop and Vondracek at CSO On October 10-11, Marin Alsop joins the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to perform Shostakovich’s subversive Fifth Symphony at Symphony Center. She also leads musicians in a captivating score by James Lee III about Harriet Tubman before Lukas Vondracek plays Chopin’s beloved Second Piano Concerto.  Following the October 11 matinee, enjoy a special screening of Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom in Orchestra Hall.
