The UN is erasing Jewish historical connection to the Temple Mount, the most sacred site in Judaism.   UNESCO, the UN body that governs World Heritage Sites, passed a resolution acknowledging only Islamic history of the Temple Mount – referring to the site only as “Al-Ḥaram Al-Sharif” and ignoring any Jewish history at the sacred site.   Make no mistake, Israel’s enemies are waging a diplomatic war against the Jewish state at the UN. This resolution acknowledging only Islam's connections to the Temple Mount could undermine Israel’s connection to Jerusalem in the international community.   Next week, the resolution will be referred to UNESCO’s executive board for formal approval. If we don’t act now, Judaism could lose its place at its most sacred site and Israel's standing could be in danger. In the face of this travesty, we must stand up for Israel.   Join us and demand the UN explicitly recognize Judaism’s history on the Temple Mount and Western Wall   In the resolution, Israel is called "the occupying power" at the Western Wall where Jews have prayed for thousands of years. This is an attack against Israel's very legitimacy.   Israel's PM Netanyahu said "To say that Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall is like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China, and Egypt has no connection to the pyramids."   Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people. The UN is trying to rewrite history. If we don't demand action by the international community, Israel's standing in Jerusalem could be at risk.
